Perth Royal Agricultural Show. This is an annual event in Perth and some WAQA members enter their quilts for judging into this Show.
Sister City Friendship. In 1990 Sister City Friendship saw integration with the Kagoshima Quilters in Japan and an invitation extended to their quilting groups to send quilts to the Fifth Biennial Quilt Exhibition. Several Japanese members brought their quilts and spent a very pleasant week attending the Exhibition and enjoying the sights of Perth.
