Library

An extensive library of books, magazines, Videos, frames, stencils and all quilting necessities are kept by the WAQA for use and borrowing by members. Country members can arrange to have books and magazines sent to them by contacting the country librarians.

Library Opening Hours

Sewing Day Library hours
10.30am to 12.15pm and 12.45pm to 2.30pm

Sewing Night hours
7.30pm to 9.15pm

Business Meeting hours
7.30 to 8pm (Library will reopen after the guest speaker until 9.15pm)

The Collection

A selection of new books is listed in each Quilters' Quarterly

Magazines: Roughly 20-25 new magazines are received each month as well as newsletters from various Australian Quilting Groups.

Library Cards

Members will be issued with a library card upon request 

Metro members may borrow 10 items i..e 5 books and 5 magazines or 4 books and 6 magazines etc.

Country members may borrow 6 items i.e. 3 books and 3 magazines or 2 books and 4 magazines etc.

New Books

New books are added to the library on a regular basis. Check your latest Quilters Quarter for details of new additions.
