My Japanese Quilt

151 cm w x 153 cm h
Made from hand appliqued Kamon and Takarazukushi blocks, hand stitched Sashiko crests and hand appliqued hexagons. The outer borders are formed from foundation pieced Kimonos and Lanterns.
My own design and colour choice from 'Japanese Quilt Blocks To Mix And Match' by Susan Briscoe.
